Texas High School Basketball - Sherman topples Princeton

In Friday's league outing, the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX), by a count of 63-49.

The Bearcats (28-3) will now prepare for their outing against McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region II District 13 outing with a 17-13 record. In their last outing, McKinney North defeated Greenville (Greenville, TX), 61-53, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 8-19 record. They play next when they host Denison for a 5A Region II District 13 outing on Tuesday, February 13. Princeton will clash with a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 67-56 league loss to Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 9-21.
