In Friday's league match, the visiting Union Redhawks basketball team scored a decisive 68-40 triumph over the Putnam City Pirates.
In their next game, the Redhawks meet the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs (Edmond, OK) in a 6A District 3 match, on Tuesday, February 13. Union will attempt to better on its 20-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 14-6 record after their 55-46 league win over Enid (Enid, OK).
With the defeat, Putnam City moves to 8-14 on the year. The Pirates travel to Enid (Enid, OK) to meet the Plainsmen in a 6A District 3 match on Tuesday, February 13. The Plainsmen enter the match with a record of 7-11.
