The St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 70-40 in Friday's league test.
The Horsemen (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM). The Blue Griffins go into the 3A District 2 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Santa Fe Prep was trounced by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 63-51, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to West Las Vegas for a 3A District 2 test on Tuesday, February 13. Raton will encounter a Dons squad coming off a 65-58 league loss to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Dons record now stands at 13-9.
