Texas High School Basketball - Wakeland knocked off by Reedy

February 9, 2024: Frisco, TX 75034

The Reedy Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Wakeland Wolverines to 54 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 14-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Colony for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Reedy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 76-55 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 26-5.

The Wolverines (5-20) will now prepare for their contest against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, Newman Smith ran past Frisco (Frisco, TX), 55-51, in a league contest.
