Texas High School Basketball - Troy can't hold off Rogers

The Rogers Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Troy Trojans to 49 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lorena for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Rogers will battle a Leopards team coming off a 64-36 league win over Lexington (Lexington, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 22-9.
The Trojans (17-14) will now prepare for their contest against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Yoemen come into the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 17-14 record. In their last contest, C.H. Yoe edged Rockdale (Rockdale, TX), 49-46, in a league contest.
