Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), 48-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodhaven upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Warriors host Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a Downriver bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Railsplitters go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Lincoln Park won 60-41 in their recent league bout against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI)

Next up, the Bears play the Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
