New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe Indian nudges West Las Vegas

Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM), 65-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Santa Fe Indian upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Braves travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to clash with the Cardinals in a 3A District 2 bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 20-1. Robertson won 63-51 in their recent league bout against Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM)

Next up, the Dons clash with the Raton Tigers (Raton, NM) in a 3A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. West Las Vegas will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 70-40 league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
