The Satanta Indians basketball team (Satanta, KS), was overwhelmed 67-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS)
The Timberwolves now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Gray for a Southern Plains-Iroquois battle on Friday, February 16. South Central will confront a Rebels team coming off a 82-32 non-league win over Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS). The Rebels record now stands at 16-1.
The Indians (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Hodgeman County trounced Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS), 59-53, in a non-league battle.
