Oregon High School Basketball - Scio can't hold off Taft

The Taft Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Scio Loggers to 66 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amity for a 3A PacWest contest on Tuesday, February 13. Taft will battle a Warriors team coming off a 78-62 league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 14-10.

The Loggers (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR). The Eagles come into the 3A PacWest bout with a 5-17 record. In their last bout, Santiam Christian was edged by Dayton (Dayton, OR), 67-46, in a league bout.
