The Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team (Madisonville, TN), was nudged 58-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Tellico Plains Bears (Tellico Plains, TN)
The Bears now possess a 14-6 record.
The Chiefs (11-14) will now prepare for their battle against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Polk County edged Marion County (Jasper, TN), 69-37, in a non-league battle.
