The Shelbyville Rams basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals to 53 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dieterich for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Shelbyville will battle a Movin Maroons team coming off a 72-42 non-league win over Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL). The Movin Maroons record now stands at 21-6.

The Cardinals (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Brownstown/St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Brownstown/St. Elmo was defeated by Altamont (Altamont, IL), 61-40, in a league contest.
