The Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR), 1-0 in Friday's league test.

The Lakers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Mountain West test with a 2-20 record. In their last test, McKenzie was tipped by Alsea (Alsea, OR), 52-40, in a league test.

The now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Mohawk for a 1A Mountain West test on Saturday, February 10. Siletz Valley will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-13 league loss to Mapleton (Mapleton, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-21.
