The Somerville Yeguas basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Snook Bluejays to 36 in the Yeguas league triumph on Friday.
The Yeguas now sport a 24-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mumford for a 2A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Somerville will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-46 league win over Normangee (Normangee, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 26-10.
The Bluejays (10-19) will now prepare for their contest against Burton (Burton, TX). The Panthers enter the 2A Region IV District 26 contest with a 10-19 record. In their last contest, Burton triumphed over Iola (Iola, TX), 48-40, in a league contest.
