The Traverse City Christian Sabres basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting St. Mary Eagles to 41 in the Sabres league triumph on Friday.
The Sabres now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellsworth for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Traverse City Christian will battle a Lancers team coming off a 71-39 league loss to Alanson (Alanson, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 8-11.
The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Elks enter the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Elk Rapids ran past Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI), 55-41, in a league contest.
