The Toms River South Indians basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Toms River East Raiders to 54 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Point Pleasant Beach for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Toms River South will battle a Garnet Gulls team coming off a 70-48 non-league loss to Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ). The Garnet Gulls record now stands at 10-12.
The Raiders (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Toms River North (Toms River, NJ). The Mariners enter the Shore A - South contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Toms River North was nudged by Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
