The Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX), 54-39 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (9-24) will now prepare for their test against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region IV District 31 test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Three Rivers went down by Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX), 63-39, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 2-21 record. They play next when they host Port Aransas for a 2A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, February 13. Yorktown will encounter a Marlins squad coming off a 46-29 non-league win over Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Marlins record now stands at 24-9.
