The Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) basketball knocked off the visiting Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), 54-38 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Wasilla notched a victory over Colony (Palmer, AK), 61-48, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Anchorage for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 14.
