Central Knights (Providence, RI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Westerly (Westerly, RI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Westerly lost 54-40 in their recent non-league bout against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI)
