North Carolina High School Basketball - Owen ripped by Avery County

In Friday's league match, the visiting Avery County Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 77-25 triumph over the Owen Warhorses.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) in a 1A/2A Western Highlands match, on Tuesday, February 13. Avery County will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record.

With the defeat, Owen moves to 4-19 on the year. The Warhorses travel to Madison (Marshall, NC) to meet the Patriots in a 1A/2A Western Highlands match on Tuesday, February 13. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-14. Madison lost 67-19 in their recent league match against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC)
