In Friday's non-league outing, the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), by a margin of 53-43.
The Trojans (17-7) will now prepare for their outing against Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 9-16 record. In their last outing, Adair County defeated Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 54-49, in a league outing.
The Falcons now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Greenwood for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. Monroe County will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 66-42 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Gators record now stands at 12-14.
