Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Rush-Henrietta upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Royal Comets travel to Eastridge (Rochester, NY) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Eastridge won 61-52 in their recent non-league bout against Edison Tech (Rochester, NY)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Batavia will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record.
