Marcellus Wildcats (Marcellus, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bloomingdale Cardinals (Bloomingdale, MI), 40-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marcellus upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Cassopolis (Cassopolis, MI) to play the Rangers in a Southwest 10 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 13-2.
