North Carolina High School Basketball - Sanderson knocked off by Broughton

February 9, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27609

The Broughton Capitals basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Sanderson Spartans to 33 in the Capitals league triumph on Friday.

The Capitals now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens Drive for a 4A CAP 6 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Broughton will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 62-24 league win over Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-13.

The Spartans (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders enter the 4A CAP 6 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Gibbons ran past Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC), 64-50, in a league contest.
