The Cameron Comets basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Spooner Rails to 32 in the Comets league victory on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bloomer for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Cameron will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 73-25 league win over Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 10-13.

The Rails (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI). The Bulldogs come into the Heart O'North contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser was routed by Northwestern (Maple, WI), 60-42, in a league contest.
