Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), saw Central Cabarrus's basketball squad overcome Concord by a tally of 58-45.

With the victory, Central Cabarrus improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a 3A South Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-17. Lake Norman Charter lost 50-40 in their recent league challenge against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Spiders play the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Concord will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 59-34 league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
