The Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Marysville Bulldogs (Marysville, KS), 49-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Wamego (Wamego, KS). The Red Raiders go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Wamego got by Abilene (Abilene, KS), 45-40, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Chapman for a North Central Kansas test on Friday, February 16.
