North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman overwhelms Cox Mill

February 9, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) and the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), saw Lake Norman's basketball squad wallop Cox Mill by a tally of 60-34.

With the victory, Lake Norman improves its record to 20-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 4A Greater Metro challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. South Iredell won 52-51 in their recent league challenge against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)

Next up, the Chargers confront the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Cox Mill will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Ragin' Bulls come into the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 52-48 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
