Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) and the visiting Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), saw Mountain View's basketball squad knock off Cupertino by a tally of 47-30.

With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign.

The Pioneers (3-17) will now prepare for their battle against Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Falcons come into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Saratoga dropped by Gunn (Palo Alto, CA), 41-21, in a league battle.
