Maryland High School Basketball - Rockville overwhelmed by Damascus

The Damascus Hornets basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Rockville Rams to 31 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watkins Mill for a Montgomery County - 3A/2A contest on Tuesday, February 13. Damascus will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 54-28 league loss to Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-14.
The Rams (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Gladiators come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Northwood was routed by Blair (Silver Spring, MD), 51-36, in a non-league contest.
