The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Lansing Lions to 35 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a United Kansas contest on Tuesday, February 13. De Soto will battle a Chargers team coming off a 78-33 league loss to Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 6-11.

The Lions (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Shawnee Heights triumphed over West (Topeka, KS), 64-48, in a league contest.
