The West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) basketball knocked off the host East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY), 65-47 in Friday's league test.
The Colts (20-6) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Lafayette notched a victory over Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 56-44, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Berea for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. East Jessamine will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 14-9.
