Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN), 56-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Eden Prairie upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to clash with the Knights in a AAAA Section 8 bout on Monday, February 12. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 17-5. St. Michael-Albertville won 85-35 in their recent league bout against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a AAAA Section 6 bout, on Monday, February 12. Wayzata will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-18 record after their 86-43 league loss to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN).
