El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK), 52-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, El Reno upgrades its record to 22-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Shawnee (Shawnee, OK) to play the Wolves in a 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 14-8. Shawnee won 59-35 in their recent league bout against Altus (Altus, OK)

Next up, the Bluejays play the Crossings Christian Knights (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Guthrie will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 68-23 league loss to Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK).
