Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC), 75-6 in a league bout.

With the win, Vance Charter upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Eno River (Hillsborough, NC) to play the Bobcats in a 1A Triangle North bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Eno River won 49-39 in their recent league bout against Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC)

Next up, the Flying Lions play the Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) in a 1A Triangle North bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 49-47 league loss to Eno River (Hillsborough, NC).
