The Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN) basketball nipped the visiting Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars (Murfreesboro, TN), 54-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Middle Tennessee Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Columbia Academy (Columbia, TN). The Lions record now stands at 14-7.
