The Franklinton Rams basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Northern Nash Knights to 30 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky Mount for a 2A/3A Big East contest on Tuesday, February 13. Franklinton will battle a Gryphons team coming off a 63-23 league win over Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 16-4.
The Knights (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds enter the 2A/3A Big East contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Southern Nash was routed by Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC), 63-23, in a league bout.
