The Gilbert Yellowjackets basketball team (Winsted, CT), dropped 59-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT)
The Bears now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wamogo for a Berkshire battle on Tuesday, February 13. Thomaston will battle a Warriors team coming off a 38-28 league loss to Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-15.
The Yellowjackets (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos come into the Berkshire battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Terryville prevailed over Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT), 37-33, in a league battle.
