The Golden Plains Bulldogs basketball team (Rexford, KS), dropped 37-26 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS)

The Thunderhawks now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dighton for a non-league battle on Monday, February 12. Wheatland-Grinnell will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-30 league win over Western Plains (Ransom, KS). The Hornets record now stands at 6-12.

The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rawlins County (Atwood, KS). The Buffaloes come into the non-league battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Rawlins County beat Quinter (Quinter, KS), 61-50, in a non-league battle.
