The Valley Regional Warriors basketball team (Deep River, CT), was toppled 61-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT)

The Cougars now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cromwell for a Shoreline battle on Tuesday, February 13. Haddam-Killingworth will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-33 league loss to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 3-16.

The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies come into the Shoreline battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Morgan beat North Branford (North Branford, CT), 72-54, in a league battle.
