Hamburg Lions (Hamburg, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Warren Lumberjacks (Warren, AR), 51-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Hamburg upgrades its record to 21-3 on the season. The Lions host Star City (Star City, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 20-4. Star City lost 54-47 in their recent league bout against Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR)

Next up, the Lumberjacks clash with the Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 21-6 record after their 54-47 league win over Star City (Star City, AR).
