Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars (Whitesburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), 75-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Letcher County Central upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season. The Cougars / Lady Cougars travel to Wolfe County (Campton, KY) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Wolfe County lost 64-34 in their recent non-league bout against Owsley County (Booneville, KY)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Jenkins will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-18 record after their 78-40 non-league loss to Leslie County (Hyden, KY).
