In Friday's league outing, the Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), by a margin of 61-37.
The Eagles (22-2) will now prepare for their outing against Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA). The Spartans go into the AA Region 4 outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Glenn Hills was trounced by Washington County (Sandersville, GA), 52-49, in a league outing.
The War Eagles now own a 17-8 record.
