The Stewartville Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets to 59 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lourdes for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Stewartville will meet a Eagles team coming off a 68-49 league win over Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 17-5.

The Komets (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Simley was outscored by Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN), 60-23, in a non-league contest.
