Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), 54-14 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mott upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Corsairs host Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI) to play the Knights in a Lakes Valley bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-9. Walled Lake Northern lost 35-16 in their recent league bout against Milford (Highland, MI)

Next up, the Captains play the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Kettering will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 35-16 league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI).
