The Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers to 26 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaMoure/Litchville-Marion for a B District 2 contest on Saturday, February 10. Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] will battle a Loboes team coming off a 60-30 league win over Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND). The Loboes record now stands at 13-9.
The Clippers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND). The enter the B District 2 contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Medina/Pingree-Buchanan was routed by LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (LaMoure, ND), 60-30, in a league contest.
