The Kingsford Flivvers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Marquette Redmen to 34 in the Flivvers league triumph on Friday.

The Flivvers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menominee for a Great Northern U.P. contest on Monday, February 12. Kingsford will meet a Maroons team coming off a 59-53 league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 8-9.

The Redmen (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Munising (Munising, MI). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Munising nudged North Dickinson (Felch, MI), 52-12, in a non-league contest.
