Maryland High School Basketball - Lackey knocked off by McDonough

The McDonough Rams basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Lackey Chargers to 46 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Friendly for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. McDonough will battle a Patriots team coming off a 46-45 league loss to Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 7-14.

The Chargers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Patuxent was defeated by St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 56-23, in a league contest.
