Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR), 58-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakeside upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Rams travel to El Dorado (El Dorado, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 5A South bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-15. El Dorado won 52-41 in their recent league bout against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR) in a 5A South bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 15-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 43-19 league win over Arkansas (Texarkana, AR).
