In Friday's league outing, the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball squad felled the visiting Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT), by a margin of 38-28.

The Spartans (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT). The Mountaineers go into the non-league outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Housatonic-Wamogo was beaten by Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 55-32, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Thomaston for a Berkshire outing on Tuesday, February 13. Wamogo will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 59-42 league win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Bears record now stands at 16-3.
