In their next game, the Gators face the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 10. Lakeview will attempt to move on its 23-3 season record. The Cowboys enter the game with a 19-12 record after their 60-40 league loss to Airline (Bossier City, LA).

With the defeat, Winnfield moves to 14-12 on the year.
